ND filters are useful for the OP3 because they allow you to control the amount of light entering the lens, helping you achieve proper exposure as well as creative effects such as motion blur. They are particularly helpful in bright outdoor conditions or when using slow shutter speeds. You'll learn how to use them in real world sitautions and when you should pull them out of your camera bag.
